Thought I’d share my experience from yesterday because I know how stressful it is when your car won’t start and you’re scrambling for solutions. I was parked in JLT around 2pm and after finishing my meeting, my sedan just wouldn’t turn over – the dreaded clicking sound that makes your heart sink. I called a friend who’d been through something similar recently and he gave me the contact for a mobile battery service that apparently operates all over Dubai. Within about 45 minutes a guy showed up in a van, tested my old battery which was completely dead, and had a new one installed in maybe 20 minutes flat. I was honestly surprised at how smooth the whole process was because I was expecting to haggle or deal with some shady operation, but the technician was professional and even showed me the manufacturing date on the new battery before installing it. The whole thing cost me about what I expected to pay at a garage anyway, so I’m pretty happy I didn’t have to arrange a tow truck or wait around for hours. I actually ended up going with Sayara Battery Dubai after comparing a few options online, and the pricing was transparent which I really appreciated. The only thing I’d say is make sure you check the warranty card carefully because mine was tucked into the box and I almost missed it. Anyway, just wanted to share in case anyone else is in the same boat and wondering whether these mobile services are legit. I’d definitely use them again if needed.
