So I’m going away for about three weeks on a business trip and I’m genuinely worried about coming back to a dead battery in my 2021 Huracán, because I know these cars drain power even when they’re just sitting there with all the electronics in standby mode. I’ve heard so many stories from other owners about coming back from vacation to find the car completely dead, and then having to deal with the hassle of getting it jumped or replaced. I’ve been looking into battery tenders or maintainers that I can leave connected while I’m away, but I’m not sure which ones are actually good quality and won’t damage the sensitive electronics or overcharge the battery. Some people swear by the OEM Lamborghini branded ones, but honestly they seem really overpriced for what they are, and I’ve seen other owners recommending various aftermarket brands that work just as well.
