Exhaust noise on my Accord – any good exhaust shops around Khalifa City?
I’ve got a 2017 Honda Accord that’s been completely reliable since I bought it, but recently I’ve noticed the exhaust is getting noticeably louder, especially when I accelerate from a standstill. There’s a sort of deep rumble that wasn’t there before, and I’m pretty sure it’s coming from somewhere near the front of the exhaust system, which makes me think it could be a cracked manifold or maybe a failed flex pipe. I’ve had a quick look underneath and I can’t see any obvious holes or hanging parts, but I’m no mechanic so I could easily be missing something. I’m based in the Khalifa City area and I’m trying to find a workshop that actually knows what they’re doing with exhaust systems and won’t just tell me I need a full new system when it might just need a small section repaired or patched up. I’ve heard that quality exhaust repair for all vehicles in Khalifa City is available at a few places, but I’d rather get a personal recommendation from someone who’s had a good experience. I don’t want to go to a place that uses cheap parts that’ll rust out in six months, but I also don’t want to be overcharged for a simple fix. Has anyone here had exhaust work done on their car in this area and found a reliable shop? Also, is it worth getting a stainless steel replacement section if the original pipe needs to be cut out, or should I just stick with standard mild steel? Any advice would be really appreciated because I’m trying to get this sorted before the noise gets worse. Cheers.
